Why did We think about it?

In a world as geographically diverse as ours, with a rising interest in outdoor recreation and a growing community of trekkers and campers, tourism has seen a significant surge globally, especially in regions like the Himalayas, remote forest reserves.

However, these remote locations often lack basic amenities—particularly electricity— that outdoor enthusiasts rely on to power essential electronics, prepare food, and stay visible and safe.

Pain Points

1. No Power Points

No power points due to which experience and need is compromised as people tend to save as much battery as possible

2. Limited Powersupply

Power banks can only charge a smartphone upto 2 times, then it needs to be charged too.

3. Tedius to prepare warm food

Difficult to prepare warm food in natural ways or in other cases equipment takes up alot of space

4. Added weight and bulk

People carry multiple torches, extra batteries, powerbanks to meet their needs which inturn increases their load.

How can I solve it?

Project goal: How might we create a device for off grid locations where electricity is not available for essential needs

Idea 1

A device with a large battery which can charge your devices for upto 10 days. Must have basic charging ports like USB A and C

Idea 2

A heating component in the device to boil water or cook instant food which may run
on a DC battery.

Idea 3

A high beam torch integrated in the device to navigate through the darkness which is also detachable if needed.

Idea 4

A solution to regenerate electricity and charge the battery of the device so that it can run for longer periods.

A compact, versatile power solution built for adventurers. Designed to fit seamlessly into outdoor gear, it provides reliable power, light, and heat to enhance self-sufficiency in remote environments—all in a rugged, easy-to-carry form for modern explorers.

Upto 20 cycles of charging or 40 cycles of boiling water

Proof Of Concept

To verify our concept, we created a proof of concept housing all our features. In an acrylic casing we made a circuit which included a 25,000 mAH battery, voltage meter, PTC heater, flick switches, car charger for ports and a torch.
